What is the thickness of the material ?

The thickness of the auto carpet is 2mm

Would this be durable enough to use on a dog ramp? Would it provide traction similar to a rug?

The non-woven thickness is 2 ~ 3mm, which may not be used for the dog's rove, because I don't know if I can bear the strength of the dog paw, but you can try it.

Is this felt Waterproof?

I have not tested it with any liquids. But by looking at it it does “Not” look water proof. There is no rubber membrane or solid barrier on either side of the felt.
