Featuring a rigid webbing for easy step-in, a steel DoubleBack buckle for precise length adjustment, and an elastic keeper to secure your foot, it ensures comfort and reliability during extended climbs. Compatible with Petzl ASCENSION and BASIC ascenders, it’s a trusted choice for professionals seeking performance and durability.

## Description

The Petzl FOOTAPE is an adjustable webbing foot loop designed for comfort and ease of use during rope ascents. Unlike ultra-light cord loops that can be flimsy, the FOOTAPE is constructed from abrasion-resistant nylon webbing. This strap is slightly rigid, allowing it to hold its shape for easy step-in without needing to bend down and open it with your hands. This is a huge advantage when moving efficiently up a rope. It attaches to the ASCENSION or BASIC handled ascender via a Maillon or carabiner. It features a fully adjustable DoubleBack buckle to set the length precisely, and a height-adjustable elastic keeper to secure your foot in the loop so it doesn't slip out during the climb. Specifications: Material: Nylon Webbing, Steel Buckle Weight: 65 g Adjustment: DoubleBack Buckle Compatibility: Petzl ASCENSION, BASIC Warranty: 3 Years

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Super light, works well
*by C***E on December 19, 2024*

We use them on our SAR team to help our litter attendants position themselves in relation to the litter for high-angle rescues. They're super light, so they don't add weight to the gear we have to carry up the hills, and they work well when needed.
