What is the shelf life? Can I use it over the course of a couple years?

I have had no problems using one year after I first opened it. Keep it in a cool dark place for storage. Make sure the lids are on tight. I would give it a 5 star rating. Hope this helps. Take care.

Is there a specific metric for the strength rating? We are planning to use the product to rebuild wood under a quard rail on a sailboat.

I’m am unaware of any metric. I use it on my log house to repair the logs. It sets up as hard as the wood judging from the sound it makes when I rap on it. You could always try a destructive test using a known weight. You could use some basic load calculations from an on-line engineering source. You would need to know the dimensions of the timbers and the species.

What is the shelf life of this product after its opened?

Have used this repeatedly after 3 years without a problem.
