It chews concrete like butter for example. *by on Reviewed in the United States 25 September 2025* I don't know what some reviewers are thinking when they say it's just good for basic tasks- this worked like a monster for me. For example, one thing I needed to do was remove a portion of poured concrete that was obstructing a new S40 PVC pipe I needed to install under my deck for drainage. Using a Diablo segmented diamond disc it did literally "chew" right though like the cement was butter in seconds, without even a hiccup from this grinder.And the "on/off switch being awkward to turn on? Not. In fact it's a great and sturdy design. It turns off very easily which is what matters. Like someone said it shouldn't be THAT "easy" to turn the grinder on for safety. Duh. This works great and was not a problem whatsoever.The standard disc attachment/ removal system is firm and foolproof.It has plenty of power for any home owner I am certain.Disclaimer: I am not a professional steel worker or construction worker, but if I were I would know by common sense that I would need to spend more than this for a grinder. Eventually.
