A great device for removing stubborn corks from older bottles
A great device for removing stubborn corks from older bottles, especially vintage port bottles wher the corks have become delicate.

Hmmmm
Gas is expensive and doesn’t last long and only works on some bottles

Wine bottle opener.
The wine bottle opener is the cream! Spanish wine I recommend for this opener(Jumilla, Rioja, Ribera del Duero). Fácil de usar. No modifica las propiedades del vino (ni olor ni sabor se ven afectados).

I thought it would help someone with a weak wrist by using air pressure to push out the cork. In fact it needs more strength than a conventional corkscrew to get the thing in place, and even more to get it off again.
