I am messy and once they get dirty I throw them out and get new ones. They are reasonably priced so it's easy to do. They have lasted me about a year and a half each. They will wash but are never the same. They get kind of out of wack. Possibly if you laid them flat to dry they would turn out ok. They are well worth the money. They are thick and comfortable and so the job of keeping your hands safe from heat. They are lightweight and unabteusive, making them easy to use. Simple, great colors, easily perfect for a gift to match someone's fun kitchen colors. Well made and very soft.
