Assembly took less than ten minutes right out of the bag; the T-shape stand locks into place smoothly, and the crossbars snap together without any awkward wrestling. Having the included spring clamps is a huge plus because they hold the fabric taut so you aren’t constantly fighting sag in the middle of a shoot. The stand holds up well for everyday indoor use, and the included carrying case makes it easy to pack up and tuck away in a closet when space is tight. The backdrop fabric handles lighting evenly without creates harsh glares on camera, which saves a lot of time during editing. One small detail to keep in mind is that the backdrop fabric comes folded in the box, so you’ll definitely want to spend a few minutes with a garment steamer to get the fold lines out before your first setup.
