EPIK CMG (WHITE)

Great whistle for all sports

I have received several compliments on this whistle. It is loud and clear and works great for a louder environment.

I am a Fox40 purist when it comes to whistles. I coach Football and Basketball and am always in need of a good whistle. I decided to go with the Epik to try out something different that I am originally used to. It is LOUD. But I love it, my players dont, but I can guarantee you they will not be saying "Coach, I didn't hear a whistle!". The Snap on the lanyard is nice, love that on the Fox40s. Would recommend for outdoor use. If you are a camp counselor, I would consider some of the other Fox40s unless you are working a lifeguard station or a station where it is important you get someone's attention in case of or to prevent an emergency.

Inexperienced whistle blower will say it doesn’t work. As a referee, it is like many other pea less whistles. High pitch and sharp. As a Pe teacher, it’s not very effective for teaching: yard duty because it’s excessively high pitch for a casual setting. I would recommend the Caul or the Tornado for school teachers.

The sound quality of this whistle is very good but is a different pitch compared to a standard whistle. It is really comfy, durable and comes in a few different colors. I used it all season and it shows no signs of any malfunctions or wear and is a great value for your money.

I did not use it for hiking. I use this whistle daily as a PE coach. This is my best friend lol. Defenilty a durable whistle it last me a long time. The noise level is very clear and loud and reaches the other side of the street. Every PE coach should have this or a referee.

I use this whistle for lifeguarding and teaching other aquatic courses (lifeguarding, water safety, swim lessons and coaching). It is great and still works perfectly when wet and after being submerged.
