If you use a reasonable needle size like 21-23 Gauge it will auto seal - so one can do multiple punctures. After several hundreds of punctures the arm may develop a couple of minor leaks. As these leaks come from the tubes under the skin - one cannot suture it closed - but one can actually use the arm for practicing suturing skills - it works well for this purpose!
