The bond holds up through the wash and I’ve used it on carpets that were fraying as well as on patches for my jeans that now look like they have that embroidery look that costs a fortune! This glue really works on any and all fabric. A quick cheat vs sewing as well as a great way to repair a tear that is ina spot that can’t be sewn! Truly found uses for it I never thought of until I had it at my fingertips! Very happy and will definitely get another bottle when I finish gluing any and everything I can vs sewing! Like I said, the embroidery look is VERY in right now and I ordered some on eBay but they turned out to not have that wonderful iron on backing so out comes the fabric-tac and I carefully placed the glue on the back of the patch and applied to my jeans! Will it ruin glitter?** A: I don't know what effect it has on glitter, but it does not smell.
