Cuts out the wind noise.
Like it very much. The Deadcat cuts out pretty much all the noise. I live in West Texas where the wind is always blowing.

Works well very reasonable value
I really like this little mic and the clip-in holding device it has the fluffy baffle seems to work well I've managed to get some quite nice recordings with it but if you do have a modern phone like for instance I have an S20 you will need a good quality adaptor you can buy a straightforward adaptor that just plugs into your charging point this will work for a mic or headphones or you can get the adaptor that allows you to still plug your charger into as well well while also having the adaptor for the mic but for all round general use I found it very suitable
