I recently purchased the DC97-16742A Dryer Lint Trap Screen Filter Replacement for my Samsung dryer, and I couldn't be happier with it! This replacement fits perfectly in my model (DV45H7000EW/A2), and it was super easy to install. The filter is durable and well-made, and it even comes with a flap, which helps trap more lint and improves airflow. I immediately noticed my dryer running more efficiently after using this. The included vent cleaner brush was a nice bonus—it reached deep into my dryer vent to remove built-up lint. Highly recommend this replacement filter! It’s a great value for the price and has my dryer working like new again.

I needed a replacement because the flap broke off and whenever I would pull out the the lint trap the flap would get stuck and I had a hard time pulling it out. Thank goodness Amazon had the replacement lint trap and I honestly think it better than the original lint trap that came with the dryer.

Fits perfect in my Samsung dryer. It will definitely last a long time, made strong. My one gripe is that to open the lid it is pretty tough, it has 3 snap areas to open.

When opening the lid on this screen filter the hinge broke on one side after only a few weeks of use. Extremely dissatisfied with this product.

I bought this as a replacement for my old lint screen, and it fits my Samsung dryer perfectly. The frame feels sturdy, and the mesh is tight enough to actually catch the smaller lint that my old one kept missing. It slides in and out smoothly and doesn’t snag. After a few weeks of use, it’s holding up great — no warping, no cracking, and it’s easy to clean. If your original lint trap is breaking down or not sitting flush anymore, this is definitely worth getting. Works exactly as it should.

Fits as it should, works as it should, easy to install. This is the second one we have purchased, not sure it it is do to lack or durability or if we are just extra rough on it. Does collect all the lent and the tool has come in very handy when cleaning the lent trap, much better job than my vacuum.

This was a bit hard to close but I thought that would be great. It still fits but does not function as it should. Unfortunately, one side has broken at the hinge and falls into the lint hole and has to be fished out.
