I use the powder that comes in the box plus a 1/3 cup of this. The flavor is more like real cheddar than what comes in the box, so it adds a little dimension. Makes it a bit more salty but not too much. It does clump a bit so I try to just sift it a bit (make sure it's not already clumped before adding the milk) and some extra stirring will usually do the trick. I've found the perfect recipe to be the normal, called for amount of butter, but double the milk! Also the packaging is not great (it's a non-resealable plastic bag) so I transfer it to a Mason jar when I open it. Review: GF daughter loves - This product is not marked GF, but my daughter with Celiac has done well with no viable side effects. It is a great replacement for the Kraft mac & cheese. It is also awesome in melted butter and poured over air popped popcorn! Much more powdery than the gritty Kraft mac & cheese, but tastes just they same! ## Features - 16oz OF RICH CHEDDAR CHEESE FLAVOR – Add bold, savory cheddar taste to popcorn, snacks, side dishes and everyday recipes with an easy-to-use powdered cheese seasoning. - PERFECT FOR POPCORN & SNACKS – Sprinkle over popcorn, pretzels, crackers, chips and snack mixes for an easy cheesy finish with plenty of flavor. - VERSATILE FOR COOKING – Stir into pasta, mashed potatoes, sauces, dips and casseroles, or sprinkle over vegetables, baked potatoes and salads. - SPRINKLE, STIR OR MIX – Fine powdered texture makes it simple to season foods to taste, blend into recipes or create your own cheese-flavored seasoning mixtures. - RESEALABLE OASIS SUPPLY POUCH – Packaged in a convenient resealable pouch to keep your cheddar cheese powder ready for snacks and recipes. Available in 8 oz, 1 lb and 4 lb sizes. Contains Milk. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B01JANT67U | | Age Range Description | All Ages | | Best Sellers Rank | #171,963 in Grocery & Gourmet Food ( See Top 100 in Grocery & Gourmet Food ) #268 in Cheddar Cheese | | Brand | Oasis Supply | | Brand Name | Oasis Supply | | Coin Variety 1 | Cheddar | | Container Type | Pouch/Bag | | Cuisine | Western cuisine | | Customer Reviews | 3.9 out of 5 stars 1,317 Reviews | | Flavor | Cheddar | | Item Form | Powder | | Item Package Weight | 0.46 kg | | Item Weight | 16 ounces | | Manufacturer | sunday inc | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Pieces | 1 | | Set Name | Size | | Size | 16 Ounce (Pack of 1) | | UPC | 706001243643 | | Unit Count | 16 Ounce | | Variety | Cheddar | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Oasis Supply - **Item Form:** Powder - **Number of Items:** 1 - **Unit Count:** 16 Ounce - **Variety:** Cheddar ## Images ![Oasis Supply Cheddar Cheese Powder - 1 Lb Package - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61LH1rBg4JL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: How do you get away with writing "Kraft" - a registered trademark, on your product label?** A: Ingredient list for Kraft Cheese Powder Cheese Sauce Mix- Cheese sauce mix (whey, milkfat, milk protein concentrate, salt, sodium phosphate, contains less than 2% of citric acid, lactic acid, calcium phosphate, with paprika, turmeric, and annatto added for color, enzymes, cheese culture).- This is NOT what is listed on the package in this product. If 50 lbs are being brought and repackaged to 1 lb , FDA would require this operation to apply GMP standards and have the ingredient list reproduced on the repackaged label. **Q: How many calories does this Kraft cheese powder contain. Thank you** A: I don't know. Nothing is listed on the package, not even the ingredients. I called the place where it was shipped from and they could not tell me anything. I will not purchase this product again. **Q: Is this product made by kraft brand headquarters northfield, illinois? or a fake brand.... where is it made.... is location listed on the package?** A: I no longer have the package it came in. I do seem to recall it said Kraft on the label. The flavor is quite good even if not from Kraft. I ordered this once before and it definitely not from Kraft and favor was okay but clearly not from Kraft **Q: Is this cheese taste like the cheese that is in the Kraft Macaroni and cheese box?** A: Yes. We think it tastes better than the kraft brand cheese powder ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I only use it for one thing. *by T***T on June 17, 2019* I keep a supply of this to amp up my boxed mac and cheese.
