My daughter has thick, curly hair and shampooing is hard for her. Does this fit her?

I think it's fine, I have thick hair too.

How does this shampoo brush clean the scalp? Can it reduce dandruff?

This brush doesn’t clean your scalp, it is used to massage your scalp for healthier hair growth. Yes, it will loosen dry scalp/dandruff so it can be washed out

Where can I get the hair tie?

The hair tie comes with the scalp massager

Does this dispense the essential oil well to my scalp when massage?

Sure. It is a very good scalp massager. When you put the oil (or shampoo, or whatever you want to get deep into the roots of your scalp ) you will just put some on your hair and use the massager to massage it in! I think it would work wonderful with oil, and it feels really nice!
