(without lid)** A: Just under 4 inches **Q: I just received this. The lid barely sits in the mug and is not secure (loose). Is it supposed to be snug? debating replace or return altogether.** A: It's not like a throw it down the hallway and not spill a drop type. If you turn it over, you'll be spilling. I have personally never dropped a drink in my life. I like it more, because the ceramic tastes like nothing, so it just tastes like coffee. Stainless steel tends to start to get a funk, I think. This is also dishwasher safe, which is nice. I mean, just don't think of like a sippy cup that is foolproof. It's definitely not. **Q: is it dishwasher safe?** A: It is dish washer safe **Q: Is this microwave safe with sleeve left on?** A: I think so, I run it through the dishwasher and the water gets pretty hot and I don't ever take off the sleeve. I can't see why not. I don't think it says on the bottom of the glass about the microwave. I haven't tried this one yet but my Ello's with the handle I have put them in the microwave and the handle gets hot but the plastic on the bottom of the glass is fine. ## Frequently Bought Together - Ello Ogden 16oz Ceramic Travel Mug with Splash-Resistant Slider Lid and Protective Silicone Sleeve, Perfect for Coffee or Tea, BPA-Free, Gift for Holiday Him Her Mother's Day, Dishwasher Safe - Ello Jane 18oz Ceramic Travel Mug with Handle, Splash-Resistant Slider Lid and Built-in Coaster, Perfect for Coffee and Tea, BPA Free, Dishwasher Safe, Gift for Holiday Him Her Mother's Day --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/32940682-ogden-ceramic-travel-mug-with-splash-resistant-slider-lid-protective](https://www.desertcart.no/products/32940682-ogden-ceramic-travel-mug-with-splash-resistant-slider-lid-protective) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-10-12*
