10PCS TEC1-12706 Peltier Modules

The TEC1-12706 Thermoelectric Peltier Cooler is an impressive little device, packing a lot of cooling power into a compact 40mm x 40mm unit. Designed to deliver 60W of cooling with a 12V, 6A power requirement, this Peltier plate is ideal for DIY cooling solutions, small-scale refrigeration, and even experimental electronics projects. Here’s why it’s an essential component for anyone looking for effective, space-saving cooling. Efficient Cooling Power This Peltier cooler can reach low temperatures quickly, making it ideal for compact systems where active cooling is needed. I’ve used it to keep electronic components cool in a closed environment, and it’s done an excellent job of reducing heat in minutes. At 60W, it’s powerful enough to handle moderate cooling tasks, like keeping a small fridge compartment cool or cooling down sensitive electronics during testing. Easy to Integrate into DIY Projects The 40mm x 40mm size is small and easy to fit into various projects, allowing it to be installed in enclosures or custom setups without taking up much space. This makes it perfect for anyone building custom cooling solutions for things like CPU cooling, portable mini-fridges, or insulated containers. It’s straightforward to wire and mount, so even beginners in electronics can get it up and running with minimal hassle. Fast Temperature Response The TEC1-12706 responds rapidly to power changes, reaching its maximum cooling capacity almost instantly when the current is applied. This fast response makes it excellent for applications requiring quick temperature control, like experimental setups or temporary cooling for electronic components. For anyone needing a solution that quickly adapts to changing temperatures, this Peltier plate is ideal. Quality Build with Durable Materials The construction quality is excellent for such an affordable cooling solution. The ceramic plates and semiconductor materials are sturdy and maintain performance over time without degrading. This durability makes it a reliable choice for long-term use in various setups, ensuring that it keeps running smoothly without risk of breaking or losing efficiency. Pairs Well with Heatsinks for Maximum Efficiency While the Peltier plate itself provides effective cooling, pairing it with a heatsink enhances its performance significantly by dispersing heat on the hot side. I found it works best with a good quality heatsink and cooling fan, which helps to maintain the cold side at a stable low temperature, especially during extended use. Adding these accessories makes the Peltier cooler even more efficient for prolonged or demanding tasks. Important Power Requirements With a 12V, 6A power requirement, it’s essential to ensure your power supply can handle this demand to avoid overloading. A dedicated power source is recommended, as this device draws significant power to achieve maximum cooling. However, with the right power setup, the TEC1-12706 delivers steady, efficient cooling without fluctuations, making it dependable for continuous use. Perfect for Experimenters and DIY Enthusiasts This Peltier cooler is highly versatile and suitable for a variety of DIY applications, from custom cooling projects to small refrigeration setups. For hobbyists and experimenters, it provides an affordable, effective way to experiment with thermoelectric cooling without complex installation or excessive cost. It’s also great for small electronics that need temporary cooling in testing phases. In summary, the TEC1-12706 12V 60W 6A Thermoelectric Peltier Cooler is a powerful, reliable solution for compact cooling needs. With rapid cooling response, durable construction, and flexibility in DIY applications, it’s an ideal choice for hobbyists and anyone in need of efficient temperature control in small setups. Highly recommended for DIY cooling projects, small refrigeration units, and experimental setups!

Good

Easy to tear up but good for learn how to use them. Recommend for hobbies

Not great but not bad. Average 4a at 12v. And compared to other suppliers... I had no bad ones on a total of 30

I’ve tested all 10 that I received and they all work great. In my opinion they are well worth the price if you have a need for them.

Excelente producto, ya sean proyectos o reemplazo para reparación

Bought a package of 4. They would only heat. That's not what I purchased these products for I purchased them for the cooling aspect even reversing polarity. They just got hot so wasting my money.I have to find something else

The cells work well, the cables are short but I think they are enough for the help of the applications. I was testing them and the temperature difference between the faces as well as the uniformity are good.

Great cost vs what you get. I paid the same price for one from another company and it blew up as soon as it was energized. I've only used a couple so far but both worked with no problems and seem to be better than the original (used in car plug-in cooler/heater). Now with the extras I know I can do repairs in the future or perhaps build a custom cooler/fridge for the car.

Bien

Works as described. Had no issues with this product.

Perfect replacement for thermal electric coolers in the Glowforge Pro CO2 Laser

I replaced similar on an cooler and it came back to life.
