I bought it and for 1st month it was fine, now the water does not go throu. I hav adjusted my grind, course to fine, no change. Solution???

I've had the same problem which seems to be solved by running it through the dishwasher once a week

It stopped letting water theough, i changed to different grinds. Nothing happened, how do I fix this?

you need to grind the coarser coffee, because mine does the same thing when fine coffee escapes and goes to the bottom and doesn't allow the water to flow freely but that's fine, just a little patience. I hope that I have helped you in something.

Is the opening at the bottom actually open? because i need for the paper filter to go down in there.

The bottom is not open but the cone is made of tiny holes. I put a paper filter in the cone, put the coffee grounds in the filter, and pour hot water over the ground. The cone is held in place on a cup with a frame.
