Sandtex Masonry Filler 500ml

I had some holes in the back wall of our house where the render had failed and fallen off. I can’t afford to have it re-rendered so I thought I would try filling the holes myself and then sand and paint. The filler comes ready mixed which is a plus point for me, it’s ready to go as soon as you open the tub. I used a wire brush to get rid of any loose material in or around the holes and then used a paint scraper to fill the holes and smooth them off. This filler is very easy to use, it’s very sticky so fills the holes easily and stays put. Then smooth it over with the scraper. Leave it a few dry days to dry and then sand it and paint it. It’s a cheap and easy way to do the job. I think it will last a good long time and if I have to do it again, it’s such a reasonable price, I’m happy to do that? The tub is fairly small though, so make sure you have a rough idea of how much you need. I think you could use this for a variety of uses, I had a tiny bit left over and used it to fill a hole in our kitchen wall. Very versatile and useful stuff.

Exactly as described/photo. Professional Quality Product, not quite as thick as another make, ideal filled the cracks & holes, touch dry very quick. Nice smooth white texture, think 1kg would off been more economic. Recommend

Very good option for patching up cracked render

Already made up wall filler in the tub, used on a large crack in garden wall, pretty easy to use & let dry over night before painting.

Difficult to apply as I found it quite hard in texture. Would have liked an applicator included for the price. However it did the job - not sure how it will be when next used as the reseal lid was not tight.

Excellent product would recommend it.

This is great stuff! Easy to apply covering up a crack in the render and dries fairly quickly, although l left it over night before painting over it.
