I was looking for a case to no avail, and knew to start looking at compact GoPro cases to find something. This was the closest to the F6 dimensions with the ability to completely remove the foam protection cutouts. There is barely enough room to shove a USB cord in this the recorder, and the fit is JUST RIGHT, slightly under my needs. It fits the device long and deep wise, just not height wise. If that zippered accessory pouch wasn't there, this would be a non-issue. I mean it's still technically a non-issue, since the zippered pouch puts safe tension on the device to better ensure it doesn't slide in the case. The device isn't wide enough to put strain on the stitches holding the zipper track on. If you're in the mood for a Zoom F6 shelled case, this is only slightly beat out by the Casematix Elgato Stream Deck case at about $5 less as well. How do you cut the foam to comply?** A: I agree my camera doesn't sit flat in the case with the outer camera case and attachment on the bottom. It sits at a bit of an angle. I took the slim rectangle of foam removed from where the battery charger goes and set it under the the camera it rests flat and isnt directly against the outer case. **Q: Will this hold the GoPro fusion?** A: The cut outs on the foam are not really made for the fusion. But you can easily cut the foam to fit it. It fits great for my hero 7 black. It fits my camera, extra batteries, charger and several other small items. The only thing this won't hold is my go-pro handle, which is fine. I bought it for this reason.
