Mix into any acrylic paint to enhance the depth of color intensity, increase transparency, gloss, ease flow of paint and add flexibility and adhesion of paint film. Use as a nonremovable varnish to protect painting and establish gloss sheen surface. Translucent when wet, transparent when dry. Not for use over oil paint.Thanks,Bill WrightTreyco **Q: Can I use this to seal my daughters crayola canvas paintings?** A: If the paintings are with Crayola crayons then no, the acrylic will not adhere.. if they are crayola poster paints then a spray varnish must be used. The first coat or two should be very light to prevent bleeding. **Q: Can this be used in collage to make the image adhere to the paper? or is there a better thing to use for that?** A: It could be used to adhere a paper to another paper or a paper to a background of wood or canvas. I don't know whether it would be the best product for that purpose, though. **Q: Can you use this in an acrylic and silcone pour painting and do you still need to seal it with this or another product?** A: You should use a product like this to seal any porous surface. Substrates like wood, for instance, tend to drink paints, silicones and resins if they arent sealed. If you are not using resin, i would use a polycrylic to seal it after your pour. Haven’t used any of that stuff before. My favorite product is the slow dry medium for painting, and finish with matte spray coat (rustoleum brand).The medium makes the paint flow a lot better and you can keep working with it longer before it dries. It’s similar to painting with oil, without the horrible mess.My niece loves it too. We use it every time we paint now.I also tried the high gloss medium but if you aren’t consistent in the amount you use, the gloss is uneven. Uneven gloss looks bad.
