Big pharma at it's best, owing our government. **Q: vegetarian capsules!?** A: Judith, what did you expect your doctor to say. He is busy pushing FDA approved drugs and I wouldn't touch one of those with a 10 ft pole. I worked in the medical field 44 years and have seen more "miracle" drugs come and go than I can list here. At first they are "wonderful" and every doctor is encouraged to prescribe them then after they've harmed as many people as possible they all of a sudden realize that they cause cancer or heart failure, etc., and they take it off the market. Does anybody remember thalidimide from the 70s. Supposed to work miracles in nausea in pregnant women but then all those babies started being born deformed. I'd trust a good supplement any day rather than any FDA approved drug. **Q: Can you take this with singulair?** A: To the best of my knowledge, it doesn’t interfere with medications. **Q: Is this an expectorant?** A: I don't know. I've been taking Clear Lungs since 2009. A great product with no side effects that I know of. Picked it up when I was working at a vitamin store in college. I didn’t have health insurance so I wasn’t able to get ahold of a rescue inhaler. When I would start feeling wheezy, I’d take 1-2 capsules and by 30 mins, I felt so much better. This won’t take the place of albuterol in the event of an emergency, but it definitely helps. I came across this again 5 years later but through Amazon. I had a persistent cough lasting about 5 weeks and this helped get the last of the gunk out so I could actually recover. And now I am here in 2026, buying these again. All my cold symptoms have subsided but this cough.
