I wiped those areas down with alcohol again to remove all traces of cleanser. Once all areas were as clean as possible, I applied the ceramic coat by misting the product onto the surface, working it in with the cloth, then polishing, following the metal's grain. This product is clear & very thin, so I doubted it would make much difference. Once I was finished applying it to all 4 appliances--dishwasher, range, microwave, & refrigerator---the surfaces were actually streak-free & smoother than before.
