What would be the best way to display this once finished?

I have most of the metal ship models and display them together on a shelf. I built a small wooden stand with an inset magnet that could be used to hold any steel model.

I am trying to buy a model ship kit for my son and read your review is it worth purchasing the piececool ones? if so which one is the best and easiest
