A: The best thing  I can say is to pinch off the hose before you pull away the bag, then cap of the bag to empty or change the bag.

A: If you can get this to stay in place I don’t see any reason you can’t use a bedside bag.  Hope this helps.

**Q: Every time you use the bag do you need a new bag?**
A: you don't need a new bag, When urine is full, just need to drain it, and then install the urine bag, it will be working normally.

**Q: Will this accommodate a person who is 50 inches waist size?**
A: NO! My husband has a 41 inch waistline and it won't fit him.  Perhaps it might fit a 38 inch waistline to be comfortable.
