I normally have to wear a shoe with a strap across the foot to keep them on. As these have an ankle strap instead, will it do the same job?

The ankle strap will help keep your foot in place.

I wear a uk size 5, but my feet are a little on the wide side. i also have a bit of cankle going on. would these shoes fit width and strap length wise

I normal wear a 6 but I bought a 6.5. I have wide feet also. I bought them to wear at a wedding. They were comfortable all day.

I'm a size 8uk but narrow. Will this be OK or is it better suited to a wide foot?

My daughter has very narrow feet and they were ok. Maybe a bit of a gap but the strap keeps them on.
