Review: Fantastic alarm. - This is a great driveway alarm, with excelent range, it's much better than the previous one which was supplied by the alarm company. It has a vast selection of tones to choose from and the indoor 'owl' figure lights up as well as the sound, so you really can't miss it! Well worth it's low price. Quite good fun too, seeing the owl eyes flash!! Review: Great Product, well worth doing the mods shown - Works a treat, sets off quite a ROW and has extraordinary range. It covers the whole front of the house and drive so picks up movement anywhere. And contrary to another report it always goes off when my electric car arrives, its MOVEMENT that sets, doesn't matter what it is that's moving. The outside receiver unit is made to run on 2xAA 1.5v batteries, which didn't last long; so for £8 I bought a 240v - 5v adapter (on desertcart). Just needed to remove the rear battery cover and drill 2 holes, then cut off the plug on the 5v end of the adapter, solder the ends to the tabs in the back of the unit then seal so to keep water out. Now it will run forever that its got the mains power. I bought two of the sounder units which are for mains electricity - one inside the house and the other outside, via a timer to work mainly in the dark hours. I made sure to waterproof the outside unit as well. Does it work? YES - has woke me up a couple of times. It's inspired me to now add an outside camera. ## Features - WIDE RANGE OF APPLICATIONS : The wireless weather resistant motion sensor can be used to monitor&protect your outdoor/indoor property. Would it be sensitive enough for them to trigger it while out on the prowl?** A: This would depend on how high you have the monitor The birds can set it off if they fly passed the monitor but my cat never sets it off are it is too high up **Q: Can you get detection alerts on your mobile? Thx** A: Unfortunately no. It sounds an alarm on the base unit which has volume control and a variety of chimes. Works a dream and does have a loud volume setting if required. **Q: Does this product work through glass?** A: Yes this product works through glass, mine is working through a double skinned brick wall but is only about 2oo metres from the sensor but i'm confident it would work at a further distance. i am very impressed with the performance. **Q: Why did mine go up in smoke after 6 months use?** A: The external sensor or internal sounder? ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic alarm. *by I***R on 11 March 2026* This is a great driveway alarm, with excelent range, it's much better than the previous one which was supplied by the alarm company.
