Max Strength Construction Adhesive Tube

I’ve used a lot of adhesives in my time, but the Gorilla Max Strength Clear Construction Adhesive stands out for its performance and reliability. Whether you’re working on household repairs, DIY projects, or even something more specialized, this adhesive is perfect for bonding a wide variety of materials. Here’s why I’m giving it a 5-star rating: 1. Incredible Holding Power: This adhesive truly lives up to its name. The bond is incredibly strong and holds up to heavy-duty tasks without budging. I used it to repair a broken ceramic mug and attach wood panels to a metal frame, and it has performed flawlessly in both cases. Once applied, the bond remains firm and stable, even under stress. 2. Clear and Neat Finish: One of the features I love about this product is that it dries clear. Whether you’re working on a visible surface or need the adhesive to remain discreet, the clear finish blends in seamlessly with almost any surface. No mess, no stains, and it looks professional. 3. Easy to Use Squeeze Tube: The 2.5-ounce squeeze tube makes application simple and controlled. You can apply the adhesive precisely where you need it, without worrying about spills or waste. It’s the perfect size for small to medium projects, and the tube is easy to store without taking up much space. 4. Versatile Use: This construction adhesive works on a wide range of materials, including wood, metal, ceramics, plastic, and even foam. I used it on a variety of surfaces during some home improvement projects, and it adhered to everything beautifully. It’s perfect for fixing broken items or for more involved crafting projects. 5. Quick Drying Time: The drying time is faster than I expected, which was a big plus when I had to continue my work without delays. It sets up quickly enough to hold materials together, but I still had enough time to adjust the positioning before it fully cured. 6. Weatherproof and Durable: I’ve used this adhesive both indoors and outdoors, and it performs excellently in all conditions. It’s weatherproof, so it holds up to moisture, temperature changes, and the wear and tear of outdoor use. Whether you’re fixing things inside the house or tackling outdoor repairs, you can trust this adhesive to last. 7. Great Value for the Price: Given its versatility, strength, and ease of use, the price is incredibly reasonable. A little goes a long way, and I’ve had no problem using it for several projects without running out quickly. Final Thoughts: The Gorilla Max Strength Clear Construction Adhesive has proven to be one of the best adhesives I’ve used. It combines strength, clear finish, and versatility into one product that’s perfect for a wide range of projects. Whether you’re fixing, bonding, or crafting, this adhesive will not disappoint. 🌟 Highly recommended for anyone who needs a reliable, strong, and clear adhesive for DIY projects, repairs, or crafting. It’s a game-changer for anyone looking for quality results!

This glue is really useful! I’ve used it for a variety of things, most notably: The car wash eliminated my constant chore of having to replace my work van antenna after every car wash by simply forgetting to remove it before one of those car washes, though unfortunately, it left a gaping ≈1” hole in whatever part of the van body it’s called where the antenna is mounted. So, I stole this piece from a water pump and glued it over the hole and now people always ask what’s up with my crazy satellite hookup or wth it is and I always tell these imaginary people that it’s classified. The important thing to know is that I did not prep either surface, both quite smooth. One, the factory paint job on my van and the other, polished stainless steel. Just a wipe with a cloth and a ring of glue around the open hole. I placed the steel piece on the glue, then went inside a store and worked for 3 hours. I came out, half-worried that it had slide off-kilter or worse, maybe someone got curious and snagged it, but it was still there, so I drove for 90 minutes to my home, parked for the weekend, and it’s been on there ever since. It’s been through 4 or 5 of the same car washes that removed my factory “mounted” antenna and spurred this entire experience. Since then, I’ve mounted a smooth, unprepped metal lock box on a cinder block wall, using the glue to also fill in the pre-drilled mounting holes on the back of the lock box, effectively waterproofing it. It’s been working great for almost a year in Oregon’s rainy Willamette Valley. Another useful discovery is that it works super well to glue things like a Bluetooth radio adapter, little clay trinkets my daughter makes me, and a power adapter plug that always becomes disengaged, to my dashboard. The glue holds for as long as I leave it alone, but if I simply put a little effort into it, I can remove whatever is glued to my dash AND the glue comes with it. No residue on my dash. Super stoked about this! Finally, and perhaps the most enticing detail of all, the glue does not harden in the tube. It also does not super-seal its own lid on with the contents of its own tube, a lameness historically just accepted as an inevitable consequence of containing an adhesive between two objects that are in contact with that adhesive. The cap always comes off with just a little effort with my thumb and forefinger and the glue is always in good condition and ready to flow, not even a little plug in the end of the tube opening. Bottom line: For general, but higher-strength, everyday bonding needs, this glue is a superior alternative to almost every other glue or adhesive I’ve used.

Works so well. The odor was a little funky, but I'm not using it for sniffing. I needed to adhere metal plates for my magnetic usb lights to the bottom side of my kitchen cabinet which has that lovely textured partial board finishing. So, the adhesive that came with the metal plates was not sticky enough and the lights kept falling. So, I needed a stronger bond that would work with a highly textured surface and metal. So I squeezed a nice amount on the metal plate (I did not wait 10 minutes like I was supposed to...I didn't read the instructions). I pressed it against the bottom side of the cabinet for about 30 seconds. After 10 minutes, I pressed again, and then checked a few hours later; it was set. I waited overnight before putting the light up. So now the lights are up... we'll see how the metal plates hold. My guess, it's not going anywhere. Please note, that I did not follow the instructions at all. Honestly for my project I needed glorified superglue. So this product likely exceeds what I needed. Nevertheless, super easy to use, and I'm satisfied. Please also note that the 2.5oz I received did not come with a nozzle.

I bought this to use for a nautical themed door wreath that used jute rope. This glue worked perfectly for keeping the wreath intact and smooth. It is a nice thick consistency that doesn't run or make a mess. Unbelievable hold strength. you can't beat the gorilla products brand.

I tried to glue I got Home Depot ones that works with a blue light. I thought it worked great and I have since then bought four more tubes of it that the cat would break off and I'd have to try to tape it together and it was a mess. I finally gave up on those and tried this. I'm just using it on my sprinklers where they are detaching from the Sprinkler head attached to a drip line and also where I had slate next to my driveway where it cracked from cars driving over it. It totally glued it down however a lot comes out when you ease it unless you try to use something smaller and dig some out there's no precise application. That being said I would buy it over and over again for most stuff. Even though it says it's clear you can see it on the slate but I'm just glad that it's not moving and falling all over like it normally does when I try to put it back together. It is a 24 hour curing time so note that. I would put it on something knowing that the weather was going to be nice for the next 24 hours and it wasn't going to get moved or wet. One of my overall favorite glue is for sure! It does not come with a pointed applicator that people talk about in reviews -that must be the other constructive adhesive which is apparently not as strong as this one. Overall very satisfied

So this gorilla Max strength construction adhesiveis a pretty decent strong hold glue. I have used it on quite a lot of stuff. I am a glue hoarder lol.. I have every kind of glue there is because there isn’t just one glue for everything unfortunately , so you have to get a certain type of glue for specific items that you’re going to glue ! So if you’re looking for a glue review, definitely read mine ! I purchased this to glue to glue metal to wood and for the life of me I cannot remember exactly what item I purchased this glue for specifically because I’ve used it like four times, but I know it was to glue metal to wood . But again, it works on various materials just depending on what you’re using it for. needless to say, it works really good. The only thing you have to know is that it takes a while to really bond. In other words whatever you glue is not gonna stay in place unless you clamp it or stabilize it somehow it will keep on sliding but once it bonds it bonds really good almost like to a rubbery feel and it takes a good 24 hours to really bond completely so if you’re looking for something that’s a fast bond. This is not it but if you’re looking for something that is a strong bond then this works well. Another thing I wanted to mention is that its very sticky. If you’re like me no matter what you glue you get the glue on your fingers and hands, so It’s super sticky and a really hard to get off. I still have this glue on my hands from a week ago . You might want to wear gloves which I should and never do because then I get the glue on the glove and the glue sticks to the glove and then sticks to my project.. so hopefully this was a helpful review. it’s a five star rating for me and I do recommend
