I currently have the RVD1 and it works, but the battery slowly loses charge, so higher VAC/VA would help that. I just bought the RVD Pro and I am concerned it won't run well with this, so I am also buying a 24V 40VA transformer in hopes of replacing the transformer in this box with the new one. It only operates when someone presses the door bell button which isn't long enough for the solenoid coil to get hot. It works fine when wired correctly using the right transformer.
