I color my hair and use it, but I use permanent color. **Q: My box came with no instructions- was it suppose to? Does anyone have a link to the instructions?** A: I did not get instructions either but. It is easy .. roll perm they apply wait about 25 minutes .. u can test to see if u want to leave on a little longer but i would not exceed more than 45 u dontt want to burn yoyr hair...rinse off pat dry .. then apply neutralizer leave on for 5 minutes.. take rods out ..rinse then condition style as usual **Q: Does this have hydrogen peroxide in any of the lotions?** A: No as it didn't lighten my hair but it was rather harsh on it **Q: Is this an acid perm? Can I use it on bleached (highlighted hair)?** A: This is not an acid perm, and is made for highlighted hair. If your hair has a lot of bleach and highlights, Zotos Platinum is also good. I have color treated and highlighted hair, so when I decided to perm my hair I had to be very cautious. I didn’t want to fry it and cause any to break off or fall out. I found this one and the reviews seemed pretty good and it could be used on bleached hair, so I gave it a try. I loved it! I have done my own hair for years and this is by far the best perm I have ever used. The curl turned out perfectly and there was no damage. Actually, it feels very soft. In processing, I checked it every three minutes and only processed it for around 10 minutes. It turned out exactly the way I wanted it! The smell wasn’t as bad as others I’ve tried either. Definitely recommend. The only downside, it was delivered with the box damaged. It looked like someone had cut the box open. The contents of the box were falling out. I inspected the products and they all seemed to be in good condition, so I decided to go ahead and use the products. I’m so glad I did!
