They are simple to use, with a single button to turn the earplugs on and off, and select low, normal or high-volume settings. Review: Good until they stop working. - Worked great for just over a month for welding and fabrication, however last week they have started to malfunction. They started to make popping noises randomly, which is quite uncomfortable. The return window closed 10 days ago, so I'm not happy! The foam eartips are very comfortable for perlonged use, however the silicone ones got very uncomfortable after only 2-3 hours. The silicone tips also started to fall out of my ears. I do not recommend these because they only lasted a month before breaking.

**Q: Hello there, are these any good for welding and grinding?  Also, does the wind interfere with the noise cancellation?**
A: Hello, these are spot on for what you need them for, the wind doesn't interfere with the noise cancellation, well worth the money.

**Q: Will these be ok in very high noise levels eg ships engine room 115 db**
A: your ships engine room is 115dB

These offer reductions upto 38dB depending on which ear tip you use in the kit.

This will reduce the noise levels if fitted correctly down to 77dB which means your in the safe level.

But the active part will not switch on if the noise is above 82dB so you may just have a pair of earplugs.

Worked great for just over a month for welding and fabrication, however last week they have started to malfunction. They started to make popping noises randomly, which is quite uncomfortable. The return window closed 10 days ago, so I'm not happy! The foam eartips are very comfortable for perlonged use, however the silicone ones got very uncomfortable after only 2-3 hours.
