Excellent for emergencies, makes putting on snow chains almost redundant and importantly will not damage your expensive wheels or body work. I have seen and used several of the look-a-like ones on fleet cars but Autosocks are the ones I have bought for my own use. Highly recommended as long as you appreciate that they have a finite life and distance/speed limitations. But if you have ever fitted snow chains in the dry on a practise run and cursed, imagine how difficult they are to fit when it is a blizzard and your stuck in a dangerous position and they scratch your alloys.
