Good elementary Book Group Choice
I used this for a book group I do with outer island students who are strong readers in 3rd and 4th grade. Most of the students enjoyed the book and made personal connections. Topics discussed were friendship, bullying, loyalty and of course luck.I’d definitely recommend this book for classroom use or if you want to add to a young person’s library.

He told me he really enjoyed the book
My son is 12 and he chose this book for his summer reading assignment for school. He told me he really enjoyed the book. I figured it must have been good because he shared that information on his own and he is not a big reader. It was not just an answer to my question "Did you like the book?".
