Can an 18 x 18 pillow fit in this cover?

Yes, 18 x 18 can fit. They are really pretty pillow covers.

The covers are a thick burlap type fabric. The only macrame is what you see in the picture.. They are nice but very plain other than that small macrame flap.

Would a 20x20 insert fit to make them more full? Or is that too large?

At first I stuffed a 20x20 insert into them . Personally I didn't like it. It looked rigid and unnatural. I purchased an 18x18 insert on Amazon and love it. Looks like a down pillow more soft and natural shape

Good pick

I've had these cushion covers for a few years now. They're still beautiful and in good condition, despite three kids and a husband who sometimes roughs them up. I always get compliments on them—they look amazing on my chocolate brown couch!
