Highly recommend! - This was the best purchase. I just got a new 2025 Honda Passport where the back is quite high. My Great Danes love this when getting into that after a long walk and tired. It’s sturdy enough for our 160lb big guy, and the gripped top makes sure he doesn’t slip when it’s wet or snowy. Best part it’s super light and removable compared to others that need to stay locked in. Best purchase!! Review: A Game-Changing Miracle for My Big Buddy: The Otto Step Pet Ramp - Forget 5 stars... I'd give this 10 stars! As the proud owner of a 110lb German Shepherd service dog, I've faced my fair share of challenges, especially when it comes to travel. Getting such a large dog into the back of an SUV was always a struggle, fraught with worry about potential injuries or the strain on his joints. That was until I discovered the Otto Step Pet Ramp Step, a product that has truly revolutionized our travel routine. From the moment I installed the Otto Step into my SUV's hitch receiver—a process so simple and tool-free it barely took 5 seconds! I could tell this was going to be a game-changer. But the real test was my dog's first use. With bated breath, I watched, only to be amazed as my German Shepherd walked up gracefully into the back of the SUV, and later got out just as effortlessly. It was as if he had been using it for years! The Otto Step required no training for my dog; he got it right from the first attempt, walking up and down the step with a confidence that left me beaming with pride. The design of the Otto Step is nothing short of genius. Lightweight yet sturdy, it supports my dog's weight with ease, offering a safe and comfortable way for him to enter and exit the vehicle. The step's surface provides enough traction that even on his first try, my dog didn't slip or hesitate. It’s clear that this product is designed with pets’ safety and comfort in mind, alleviating the stress on their joints and bones—something incredibly important for a dog of any size, but especially for a large breed like mine. What I love about the Otto Step is not just its functionality but also its portability. It easily stores in the back of the SUV, ensuring that wherever we go, my dog has a safe way to get in and out of the vehicle. This step has removed a significant barrier to travel for us, making journeys more enjoyable and far less stressful for both of us. Calling the Otto Step a miracle might seem like an exaggeration to some, but for my service dog and me, it truly has been a game-changing miracle. I cannot recommend this product enough to fellow pet owners. Whether your dog is large, elderly, or simply in need of a little help getting into the vehicle, the Otto Step is an investment in your pet’s health, safety, and happiness.
