**Q: What kind of adhesive used to wrap around? Covering a hard cover with the fabric.**
A: Instead of adhesive/glue, I used a non-powered light duty stapler, available at fabric stores. 5/16" long staples worked for me as I was fastening to 1/2" thick birch wood speaker baffle.

**Q: Will this Speaker cloth allow IR transformation to pass through?**
A: You bet

**Q: Is this material pervious to ir.  Ie, remote signals**
A: Yes. Sound and signals can easily go through the fabric.

**Q: Does this have UV protection? It will be in direct sun.**
A: Not sure but the material is softer and spongier than I expected.

Perfect for a custom guitar amp speaker cabinet I built. A little lighter than you'd need if you were gigging out - you'd want something a little more protective. For my purposes - my amp sits in the studio 100% - it was perfect. Easy to fit, nice look, reasonable price. I would definitely buy again.

first of all I feel that it's important to note that all the pictures of this product are misrepresentations because they make this product appear opaque when it is actually about 60-75 percent transparent. As a result, with one layer of this cloth, the grill frame and the speakers behind it show through VERY prominently, Therefore in order to dress your speakers up nicely with this product, you either must have a speaker face, grill frame and speakers of a similar shade and color, which I don't have, or double up this product on your grill frame. I doubled it up with excellent aesthetic & functional results and ordered more for my other speaker.. Other than the exceedingly high visual transparency, this product seems to be of excellent quality and appearance. It is is thick and VERY durable, even difficult to cut a tiny hole in with a new utility knife blade while the fabric is stretched tight over a wooden dowel. It's stretches a lot as needed and is thick and durable at the same time. in the end, with a double layer, I am very happy with the result. Also, It seems to still be acoustically transparent with two layers installed. I tested the acoustic transparency by holding the grill in front of the speaker and removing it while playing a song. There was no detectable difference in the sound level (at least not by my human ears)
