I was fed up of looking at ugly wastage bins outside my property so decided to buy these Keter storage containers to hide them away. I am pleased with the outcome and it certainly ensures the property now has more kerb appeal. These containers are made from plastic, and can fit 2 x large wastage/recycling bins (of approx. 600mm(w) 700mm (d) and 1000mm (h)). You are provided with a clear instruction booklet and I found it was relatively easy to build. It took me about an hour – on my own and with limited DIY skills. You will need an screwdriver and that's pretty much it. The end result is exactly what I was looking for, and hence I am happy to give a full 5 star review. I will see how they last now, but having used this brand in the past I am confident that the build quality will stand the course of time. Yes they are not cheap, and there may be alternative lower cost options available but I particularly like the look of the light grey panelling effect, and overall appearance.

First, let's address the negative aspects: As many other reviews have mentioned, it arrived with broken pieces. I was lucky, and the pieces do not impact the assembly or the functionality. So not so bad, although a small refund would be appreciated.Now the positive points: Easy to assemble, and yes, you will need two people in some steps, but overall, it is simple. It is vast and provides a huge storage space. I managed to fit all the stuff that I need, and there is still a lot of room available for more stuff. Impressive.The day after the assembly, we had heavy rain for more than 12 hours. When the rain ceased, I opened the storage to check (I was apprehensive) and not a single drop of water was inside. Amazing!Let's now wait for the snow and check again, but I can say I am much more confident it will handle snow without any difficulty.If you need a great store that is not ridiculously expensive, this is the one. Be careful and measure your space before buying, and don't forget to allow extra space for the door to open.

The item arrived in a box with some polystyrene either side. Unfortunately, this did not prevent a couple of minor bits of damage in transit - the metal bar was slightly kinked/bent, which I had to try to straighten out, plus some of the thinner plastic moulding on the underside of the lid had snapped off. All of the required items were present - no spare screws though. It would also be good if the unit came with a suitable padlock (which it does not), as I now have to look online for one that’s wide enough to cope.At a push you could probably just about manage to put it together yourself, but it was much easier with two people, and the instructions does suggest 2 persons for one bit of the construction. It took about 20 mins all in, once we had all the bits unboxed. It was quite straightforward - the instructions were good enough. The screws are robust and you’ll definitely need a drill to screw in the fixings through the plastic. Most of it went together easily - the metal bar was fractionally longer than it should have been, but it has not impacted the rest of the construction.The unit has really good space for storage - the sides do have some protrusions so I will likely put in a shelf to make best use of the space. The lid is good, with solid hinges, and is easy to lift and close.Overall, it’s a good item, and I ordered it when there was a discount, so for me it was good value. It just about gets 4 stars with the couple of flaws mentioned, as it meets my general expectations.

This is an extremely good product and is superb for what we use it for - putting the bins in which are located at the front of our house. Looks neat, tidy and seems incredibly strong and should last many years.I rarely give 5 star reviews but this is an exception and is well worth them - well done to Keter for making this product to really good standards and looks; you do yourself a credit.Now a few things to be aware of, instructions are very minimal and it is very heavy to move when boxed up and also after putting together. Also be aware of the size of it if assembling in a different place to its eventual siting (we made constant checks before moving from our back lawn through a small gate to the front before we put the roof on etc.). It really is much, much better to have two people to work on it and move it around although I would say a young, fit man would have a sporting chance of succeeding.One more tip concerning assembly, I would absolutely advise to go on YouTube and watch some instructions showing all the assembly and useful information (and if I may offer a small piece of advice to Keter it would be great to make your own for distribution to customers).Out and out excellent product.

Good sturdy and simple to use garden storage box

Right where to start? We were looking for somehting quick to setup in a corner in the garden where we could put some gardening tools. This seemed to fit the description of what we wanted in terms of size and ease of assembly. Everything was looking good. Received the item, unpacked it and began following the instructions, which are indeed well drawn. The issue I have is at one point you needed to be on your knees tightening screws from inside. First of, the screw placements dont have holes. You literally have to just cut through the plastic and almost guess if you have the pieces tight together or slightly more loose.Then from the weight on being on my knees part of the plastic gave through (rectified by stuffing foam filler underneath it)Finally, the finished product. It is large and serves its purpose for storing garden tools. HOWEVER: It is flimsy. it shakes easily, the top cover when brought down does not always align with the locks (you have to squeeze it or push one side towards the other) I would say for something most likely 3d printed en masse in some factory for a total cost of around £20, the markup is insane.Props to Keter for making a lot of money from these but just be warned.

Klare Empfehlung, mit einer Person entspannt aufzubauen. Zur Zeit noch mit Gartenbeton, Werkzeug usw. gefüllt und komplett wasserdicht. Später für Rasenmäher und ein paar Gartenstühle gedacht. Also müssen keine Tonnen sein. Sieht gut aus und ist recht Stabil. Seit 6 Wochen im Einsatz mit zur Zeit fast täglichen öffnen und schließen. Dürfte einige Jahre halten. Preis- Leistung sehr gut.
