I love these needles! I’m making a garment out of fabric that is 95% Bamboo and 5% Lycra. These needles worked awesome with this fabric. I love Schmetz needles in general! They’re good quality, but still budget friendly.

I was worried about ordering these because the size in the photo was different than the size in the title. They are actually 75/11 Stretch, which is want I wanted. They’re great, I use them for everything that isn’t woven—plush elastic, fold over elastic, firm elastic, cotton/spandex, swimsuit nylon, lace, foam, you name it. These just seem to work great, and take a long time to dull. Maybe because they start out so rounded, to slip between fibers instead of pierce them, that getting dull doesn’t seem to be too big of an issue. Shameful to admit, but I usually end up breaking them before needing to replace them due to performance. No problem catching bobbin thread or shredding. I use a Singer 9985, so the max speed is only 850 stitches per minute. I’m not able to say how well they would work in a machine that stitches at a higher speed, but I imagine they’d be great.

Good price for such a quality needles

I ordered these needles because I was having difficulty on stretchy fabrics with my machine. It works great on stretchy fabric and I no longer have the skipping problems I was previously having. I meant to swap it out for my regular "all purpose" needles when I was going to sew on cotton, but forgot once and discovered that it also works great on non-stretchy cotton. I just leave this needle in the machine for cottons and for stretchies now because it seems to work better than the all-purpose needles.

I love these for the little projects I try to force myself to do with stretch fabric when I am not busy.

I got these to use in my Janome DC 2014 sewing machine. They fit perfectly and are durable. I've been seeing with a lot of spandex lately (yoga pants and running tights). While I usually use my serger and cover stitch machine for the major seems, I need the right needles to help me finish my button holes with my sewing machine. If I use other needles, like universal needles, the fabric gets all bunched into the thread hole and I have to cut thread and fabric to get it out. However, with these stretch needles, the fabric glides smoothly through all four buttonhole steps. While these are available at the fabric store, for some reason they are always out of stock. I usually buy several cases at once on Amazon so that I can switch them out when I need to. A sewing mentor suggested switching needles with every project. I don't do that, but I do try to switch them after about 10 hours of sewing. So far, that system has worked perfectly for my fabric, thread, and machine!

J'ai reçu à la place de la boite de 100 aiguilles 20 blisters de 5 aiguilles. C'est la même qualité mais ce n'est pas très pratique, le but de ces boites en plus du prix étant de réduire la place que les blisters prennent. L'expédition a été soit disant immédiate mais la livraison a été très tardive... et le cachet de la poste laisse un doute... bref, l'essentiel est d'avoir reçu ma commande...

I'm no seamstress, I usually just alter or repair my own clothing. When trying to sew with t-shirt fabric, I always had trouble with buckling fabric and skipping stitches. After reading an article I bought these needles and I love them. I altered a night gown (replaced the mini sleeves with the short sleeves of a t-shirt) and the stretch stitch I used did great, hardly any skipped stitches anymore. I did not have to hem it, so I don't know yet how well that will go with these needles :)
