Players manage 3-6 cars each, navigating four diverse tracks with unique racing dynamics. The game emphasizes tactical positioning, drafting, pit strategy, and damage management, delivering a realistic NASCAR-style experience without dice rolls. With high replayability and scalable player counts, it’s perfect for strategy enthusiasts craving fast, competitive racing action. ## Description Thunder Alley is a stock car racing game for 2-7 players with the feel and flexibility of a card-driven simulation. Drafting, teamwork, accidents, yellow flags, pit strategy, working to lead laps, and sprints to the finish are all included and bring the feel of racing to the game. Players control not one car, but a team of 3-6 cars. Thus, each race is not only a run for the checkered flag but an effort to maximize the score for every car on your team. Winning is important, but if only one car crosses the finish line, your team might end up outside the winner's circle looking in. Included in the game are four different race tracks: a tri-oval super speedway for wide-open free-wheeling racing and a short track for a tight wheel-to-wheel bumper car duel. Each track uses the same deck of racing cards but the cards that work best on one may be useless in the other. The game also includes a second board with a road course and and 3 turned (triangle) raceway. Most racing games call for a large number of players to play the game at its best. An unusual bonus for Thunder Alley is the very playable and exciting two-player version with six cars on a side. ## Features - Fun strategy game for 2-7 players> - Players control a team of cars - Fun, flexible game play ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00L3CTHLC | | Best Sellers Rank | #637,304 in Toys & Games ( See Top 100 in Toys & Games ) #15,382 in Board Games (Toys & Games) | | Brand Name | GMT Games | | CPSIA Cautionary Statement | Choking Hazard - Small Parts, No Warning Applicable | | Color | Multicolor | | Customer Package Type | Standard Packaging | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 58 Reviews | | Edition | First Edition | | Estimated Playing Time | 90 minutes | | Genre | Strategy, Racing | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00817054010677 | | Included Components | 1x Wargame | | Item Dimensions | 8.7 x 12 x 3 inches | | Item Dimensions L x W | 9"L x 3"W | | Item Part Number | GMT1405 | | Item Weight | 0.27 g | | Language | English | | Manufacturer | Flat River Group | | Manufacturer Part Number | GMT 1405 | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | No Warranty | | Manufacturer recommended age | 14 - 15 years | | Material Type | Cardboard | | Minimum Age Recomendation | 14 | | Model Number | GMT 1405 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Players | 7 | | Operation Mode | manual | | Set Name | Thunder Alley Racing Series | | Size | Medium | | Supported Battery Types | No batteries required | | Theme | Strategy | | UPC | 092015483657 817054010677 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Images ![GMT Games Thunder Alley Board Game - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61qNNjxD-qL.jpg) ![GMT Games Thunder Alley Board Game - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71woKZNsZ7L.jpg) ![GMT Games Thunder Alley Board Game - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61B4FNFM21L.jpg) ## Frequently Bought Together - GMT Games Thunder Alley Board Game - Holy Grail Games | Rallyman: GT | Strategy Board Game | Race Cars with Dice | 1 to 6 Players | 45 Minutes | Ages 10+ --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/29913048-gmt-games-thunder-alley-board-game](https://www.desertcart.no/products/29913048-gmt-games-thunder-alley-board-game) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-10-08*
