Its wear-resistant markings and durable clip ensure longevity and quick access, while the plastic sleeves provide comfort and grip in all conditions. Trusted by professionals, this set combines precision engineering with practical durability for superior performance on hexagonal socket screws. ## Description 9 L-keys with plastic sleeve (SPKL) made from circular, grippable material. The sleeve makes working comfortable even at low temperatures and is easy on the fingers. All L-keys are easily accessible due to their colour coding and size markings. The wear-free material of the clip guarantees easy removal and a secure hold of the L-key. For hexagonal socket screws. Review: Impressive! - Is it possible to over-engineer the humble Allen key? Well these come close. The shanks are enlarged circular profile that shrink down to a hex head at either end, making them very strong. In fact, the hex heads are not quite a full hexagon but have slightly concave flats. Apparently these are less likely to deform the screw heads. The ball end has a dinky spring loaded ball to make them grip the bolt. They are surface treated and have a thick plastic sleeve so you never guess the size. Is it worth it for something you are likely to lose? Well, maybe not, but these are the bee's knees. Review: Good Quality - Worth every penny. Good quality made to last. ## Features - L-keys for hexagonal socket screws - Hex-Plus allows socket head screws to live longer - L-keys are quickly to hand thanks to their size markings - Wear-resistant size marking - Wear-resistant clip material for enhanced durability ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B08XTW2Q2D | | Best Sellers Rank | 28,841 in DIY & Tools ( See Top 100 in DIY & Tools ) 106 in Hex Keys | | Brand | Wera | | Colour | Black | | Country of Origin | Czech Republic | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 1,401 Reviews | | EU Spare Part Availability Duration | 2 Years | | Finish | Plastic coating | | Global Trade Identification Number | 04013288219107 | | Head Style | Hexagonal (with Hex-Plus design) | | Included Components | 950/9 Hex-Plus Multicolour Imperial 2 L-key set, imperial, BlackLaser, 9 pieces; 9x 950 SPKL L-key Multicolour, Imperial: 3/8 x 224 mm, 5/16 x 195 mm, 1/4 x 185 mm, 7/32 x 172 mm, 3/16 x 154 mm, 5/32 x 137 mm, 1/8 x 123 mm, 3/32 x 112 mm, 5/64 x 101 mm | | Item Length | 9.65 Inches | | Item Package Quantity | 1 | | Item Torque | 1 Centimeter Kilograms | | Item Type Name | Wera 950/9 Hex-Plus Multicolour Imperial 2 | | Item Weight | 0.07 Kilograms | | Item length | 9.65 Inches | | Item package quantity | 1 | | Item weight | 0.07 Kilograms | | Manufacturer | Wera Werkzeuge GmbH | | Material | Metal | | Measurement Standard | SAE (inch) | | Model Number | 4013288219107 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Operation Mode | Mechanical | | Part Number | 05022640001 | | Set Name | 9-piece | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Wera - **Colour:** Black - **Item length:** 9.65 Inches - **Item weight:** 0.07 Kilograms - **Material:** Metal ## Images ![Wera 950/9 Hex-Plus Multicolour Imperial 2, 9PC L-Key Set - 05022640001 - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51qs+43EqkS.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: what is the difference between a 1 L key and 2 L key or 3 L key set?** A: At least between the "1 L-Key" and "2 L-Key" sets, on Wera's website the part list for both seem to be exactly the same, except for the pouch. It SEEMS that the 1, 2, and 3 do not refer to a quantity, but an identifier for the various sets of each. Looking in their catalog, there are some that go as high as 7. So I think the number part of the the name more refers to "Multicolour Imperial 2", as opposed to "2 L-Key". **Q: In what country are they manufactured ?** A: Wera is a good German tools company, so they are manufactured in Germany. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Impressive! *by R***7 on 17 April 2024* Is it possible to over-engineer the humble Allen key?
