Is this safe for fire fighting

What about firefighting is safe?

From what material it's made? cotton? spandex? some other? what's % of each?

63% Nylon, 23% Polyester, 14% Lycra

Does it fit under a riding helmet

Yes, I wear mine under the helmet. Besides keeping sweat out of your eyes, it also keeps the sun off my head( you still have those slots in the helmet that the sun can get through).

is this snug enough to wear under a helmet

Yes, I wear it underneath my Bell bicycling helmet. Very comfortable and the rear ties work well to secure it with the right amount of tightness. I own two of these.

I love it

I sweat disproportionately from my scalp so using this makes me look like a pirate but at least i can do grappling without dripping on my partner. Yay!
