**Q: Can this be used to resurface old kitchen cabinets?**
A: I would not buy it again for any project.Very poor quality. arrived ina roll which was folded and creased making most of it unusable.

**Q: Can this be applied to. Plywood deck on a boat bow?**
A: It can certainly be applied to a plywood deck on a boat bow.  The only issue will be in protecting it with varnish or something similar to protect it from the elements if it is being used outdoors.

**Q: I what direction does the grain run**
A: it runs the long direction as in the picture left to right

**Q: Is the edge of the paper backing visible if no edge banding is used?**
A: no its brown craft paper one layer the veneer is about 3 sheet thick
