Featuring illuminated, programmable pedals, dual wireless/wired connectivity, and compatibility with over 100 apps, it offers rugged, silent operation powered by 2 AA batteries or USB. Its 30-minute auto-sleep and ergonomic design make it an essential tool for seamless digital navigation during performances or presentations. ## Description The PageFlip Firefly is a wireless Bluetooth/USB pedal designed to meet the needs of musicians who struggle with the challenge and inconvenience of page turning. By simply tapping the dual pedal of the PageFlip Firefly, digital content (e.g., PDF files) can now be flipped or scrolled in either the forward or reverse directions for convenient hands-free reading on iPad/Android tablets and Windows/Mac/Linux computers. The PageFlip Firefly emulates a standard keyboard and works with any software that uses keyboard strokes to navigate through digital files. For added versatility, the user may select among five modes for the dual pedals: PageUp/PageDown, Left/Right arrow, Up/Down arrow, Left/Right mouse click, and Space/Enter. Changing modes is as simple as pressing a button. The PageFlip Firefly works with iPads under select keyboard-compatible apps such as forScore, unrealBook, Deepdish GigBook, NextPage, OnSong, MusicReader, and Planning Center Online. Compatible Android apps include MobileSheets, MusicNotes, Moon+ Reader, and EBookDroid. The pedal, which is powered by two AA batteries, includes a USB cable. The Firefly builds upon the success of the PageFlip Cicada by adding the following key features: (1) illuminated pedals for use in dim venues, (2) five programmable pedal modes, (3) 30-minute timeout period before pedal enters sleep mode, (4) operates in wireless (Bluetooth) or wired (USB) mode, and (5) hefty/rugged construction with silent pedal mechanism. Once you try the Bluetooth/USB pedal you will be amazed by the convenience of hands-free page turning. ## Features - Allows hands-free reading on iPads, Android tablets, and all computers - Emulates PageUp/PageDown, arrow keys, and mouse clicks - Builds upon success of PageFlip Butterfly by featuring programmable pedal modes, illuminated pedals, wireless or wired operation, 30-minute timeout period, rugged construction, and silent pedal mechanism - Works with keyboard-compatible iPad and Android apps. It's too sensitive..** A: The pedal is designed to turn only one page at a time when the pedal is pressed, no matter how long the pedal is pressed down. The only time that there can be multiple page turns WHILE the pedal is pressed is if the REPEAT switch on the Firefly or Dragonfly is set to ON. If that is the case, make sure to set REPEAT to the OFF position. **Q: Will this do a page up down and or cursor up down reliably on an iPad with google docs?** A: I can't speak for Google docs as that is a program that I have not used. As a rule, however, I find that the unit performs remarkably well in "forScore" so long as it does not sit idle to long (seems like the break is at about 15 minutes), after which time the pedal seems to lose it's bluetooth link and won't respond without touching the iPad manually. I have found that to be a major flaw in the unit and it makes me wary to use it again in a performance situation! **Q: Hi!, May I ask where it is made? what country? Thank you** A: It's designed in the US and assembled nearby the factory that makes iPhones and iPads. **Q: Could pageflip firefly flip the pages of self-scanned pdf or word documents that are stored in my lenovo yoga laptop?** A: PageFlip pedals act like Bluetooth keyboards. They emit key presses (such as arrow keys) when they are tapped. Since your software responds to key presses (as all software on laptops do), it will work fine with our pedals. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A bespoke carry case would be a nice accessory. *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 2 March 2015* Plug and play. Works well with a galaxy tab and music sheets. A bespoke carry case would be a nice accessory. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy to use, connected with my iPad with no problem, great customer service *by on Reviewed in Canada 28 December 2017* I bought the PageFlip FireFly to turn sheet music pages on my iPad 2 while playing a digital piano. It connected to my device with no problem and works like a charm with forScore. Before buying this, make sure this pedal works with your sheet music app! I found out that it didn't work with one of the other sheet music apps I use because of a recent upgrade issue. Kudos to the PageFlip people for responding quickly to my inquiry! Great customer service. I just read some of the other reviews on this page and am excited to see that some use it for advancing slides on presentations....this is a use I had never considered before, and I do a lot of presentations! Looking forward to trying it out. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bluetooth page turner which is awesome *by on Reviewed in the United States 24 May 2026* I am a keyboard player that uses this page turner constantly. It connects quickly via Bluetooth to my iPad and allows me to turn pages by simply tapping my foot. The switch is quiet, responsive and reliable. I play in dark rooms on occasion and this has small lights which allow me to see the two pedals. The battery lasts a REALLY long time which is great. My only complaint, and this is part of Bluetooth, is that if it's not used for a while, it disconnects from Bluetooth and has to be relinked. All you have to do is hold a pedal down until a red light stops blinking in a couple of seconds. It just took a little while to get accustomed to that and the disconnect only happens after quite a while, so it doesn't interfere with a live show. Otherwise, this is a marvelous invention. ## Frequently Bought Together - PageFlip Firefly Premium Bluetooth/USB Page Turner Pedal - Apple Pencil Pro: Latest Model - Device Compatibility Check Required - Pixel-Perfect Precision, Tilt and Pressure Sensitivity, Perfect for Note-Taking, Drawing, and Art.
