Designed for adults, it includes printed point values and instructions for seven variations of Canasta, making it ideal for both beginners and seasoned players. Compact and lightweight, this deck brings classic card game sophistication to any gathering. ## Description Adult Playing Cards Game First introduced by Bicycle in 1894, Canasta is a melding card game using a 108-card deck. Players make melds of 7 cards of the same rank. the Bicycle Canasta Set includes point values on card faces and highlights on the Wild Cards. Instructions for 7 variations of play are included. Review: A mediocre, flawed product, worst: only 4 instead of 6 jokers - Canasta rules can vary. Some people play Canasta with 110 cards, 14 wild cards, 8 2s and 6 picture jokers, and allowing Canastas of wild cards only, with a score of 1,000 for such a Canasta. 110 cards allows for 2 wild card Canastas. This deck only has 4 picture jokers instead of 6. One has to use two of the advertisement cards to play with the wild card Canasta rules. Also, the cards only come in one backside color (red) but in 2 boxes. This means the cards have to be sorted by frontside instead of backside if you want a single deck (52-55 cards) instead of double deck when you want to play anything other than Canasta. The cards come in a simple paper box per deck, not a nice double deck box. The only positive side is that the cards have their values printed, which makes it easier to learn for beginners of Canasta. But remember, that's not really that important, the Canasta scores are quite easy (picture joker: 50; Ace, 2: 20; red 3: ±100; black 3: 5; 4-7: 5; 8-K: 10). After all, this was a disappointing, expensive product. At least the cards are ok, otherwise I'd have given only 1 star. I should've gone for a regular double set (1 blue, 1 red) of complete French cards (2×55). Just read the other 2 answers where 1 person said 2 decks and 1 person said 3 decks. **Q: what color are they?** A: The fan design on the back is red with a white background. I have bought numerous sets of these for myself and for gifts and have been very pleased. Love that the pointsare printed on the front. Makes it easy to teach someone the game as they don't have to remember the values **Q: Does it come with the game rules?** A: Yes it does come with game rules and they are easy to follow. **Q: how many decks for 4 people?** A: 2 decks in one pack great cards .... cards labled for each card how much each card is worth much easier ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐ A mediocre, flawed product, worst: only 4 instead of 6 jokers *by C***R on 2 March 2022* Canasta rules can vary.
