How difficult is it to keep it white? Is it a cotton blend?

It is a real thin cotton blend (kind of the weight of a sheet). Very easy to keep clean. I have even bleached it.

Absolutely. It is light weight and we love it. Washes up well too.

what is the color - blue or lavender

It is stark white. The color is the photo must be from the lighting.
