Il convertitore è un FTDI 232RL ed è una garanzia di funzionamento. Utilizzo da anni questo chip e non ho mai avuto problemi di compatibilità con sistemi operativi. Il convertitore viene visto in modo automatico da windows e non è necessario installare manualmente driver aggiuntivi. E' inoltre possibile scaricare (dal sito FTDI) il software per personalizzare le funzioni del chip di conversione USB e UART TTL.
