## Description

Detects clogged air conditioner condensate drains and shuts off system to prevent water damage to floors, walls and ceilings; SS1 overflow switch. Condensate overflow switch can be installed horizontally, vertically, inline or on primary pan's auxiliary drain outlet using the included 3/4" adapter. Float is adjustable. Quick access to the switch allows for easy service; easy primary drain line access for service. SS1 switch cap is easily removed for cleaning and servicing condensate drain lines. Includes directional cleanout tool to provide cleanout access. Cleanout tool included; code compliant in-line cleanout; installs on a sloping line; 24 volts a/c max 1.25 amp. Review: High Quality Part - I bought a cheaper one that didn’t work because the wires were so thin they wouldn’t make contact. I replaced it with this one. This is much higher quality with thicker wires and it works perfectly. I didn’t need the PVC, I just dropped the sensor into the existing pipe. After wiring it, I tested it by moving the float up and down. Make sure you do that before you install it and walk away.

I bought a cheaper one that didn’t work because the wires were so thin they wouldn’t make contact. I replaced it with this one. This is much higher quality with thicker wires and it works perfectly. I didn’t need the PVC, I just dropped the sensor into the existing pipe. After wiring it, I tested it by moving the float up and down. Make sure you do that before you install it and walk away.

The only reason that I am giving it a 4 star instead of 5 star was that the included cleaning tool is useless and ineffective, since the tip diameter of the tool was so small, useless for 3/4 inch or bigger size PVC pipe. The diameter was so small so there are gaps between the tip and the pipe so injecting air into the cleaning tool the air will leak from those gaps immediately. There is no way to produce a pressure to clean the pipe. Other than that , the switch worked perfectly with my purpose. great value.
