It’s not easy being the world’s only serial killer with a conscience, especially when you work for the Miami police. • The Killer Character That Inspired the Hit Showtime Series Review: I recommend - Cool book! Review: the novelty book - my friends and some fan say the show is much better than the book, and i think maybe its the truth. like them i love the TV version of Dexter so much and i think the show is better, but i still like this one too. all the supporting characters from the show are here. They are almost the same as the show.[the half-Japanese character Masuka on the show is Masuoka in the book] like the show Dexter is fairly likeable because he only kills the really bad guys and his life is going along nicely until another serial killer emerges in Miami. i have to admit that i felt like something is missing in the book, but i think thats because i already had seen the great show. and the show is too great. ithink thanks to the show the books series are underrated. maybe it's not a great literature, but its humorous and grabbing. To be fair, the book version of Dexter is one of the most original and gripping books ive ever read. if you really like the show, try the book, i think its worth it PS. Dexter series are not for young children ## Features - Vintage Books USA ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Best Sellers Rank | #365,726 in Books ( See Top 100 in Books ) #1,313 in Police Procedurals #3,177 in Psychological Thrillers #3,204 in U.S. Literature | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 671 Reviews | ## Images ![Vintage Crime/Black Lizard Dearly Devoted Dexter - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/813Pph7CLcL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recommend *by A***A on 23 August 2025* Cool book! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ the novelty book *by M***E on 6 December 2011* my friends and some fan say the show is much better than the book, and i think maybe its the truth. like them i love the TV version of Dexter so much and i think the show is better, but i still like this one too. all the supporting characters from the show are here. ## Frequently Bought Together - Dearly Devoted Dexter - Darkly Dreaming Dexter - Dexter in the Dark --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/294434994-vintage-crime-black-lizard-dearly-devoted-dexter](https://www.desertcart.no/products/294434994-vintage-crime-black-lizard-dearly-devoted-dexter) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-10-26*
