Review: Compact and powerful. - My wife recently bought a bike for me, since we sold our touring bike and she no longer wishes to ride she just upped my insurance & bought a used Honda XR650l for me, bless her heart. I've been riding for over 50 years on a variety of motorcycles from Hodaka's to Hondas with a few Brit bikes thrown in. I have usually had both a sport bike and a dirt bike of some kind. Forty yeas ago I got married and my wife loves to ride and would swing a leg over anything and go anywhere I would point it, from my TT500 Yamaha to our late great Venture Royale, we've clocked thousands of miles on various Suzuki's, Kawasaki's Triumph's and even a Harley 1200 sportster. Back then Dirt bikes were either Motocross (MX) or Enduro's with a smattering of Trials bikes. Now it is MX and what they call "Adventure tourers" Which are basically 600 pound enduros with suitcases strapped on. Motorcycles used in the dirt are very similar to mountain bicycles in that the key to riding safely and well is almost about tire pressure as much as rider skill. On bicycles you air up those knobbys on the street to 50lbs or so, but when you go off road you drop them into around 25lbs (depending on the tire set up) an over inflated knobby in the dirt will let you know something is wrong in a hurry. Motorcycles are very similar and the tires now are known as 60/40 or 50/50 or some other combination refering to the amount of on and off road riding you intend on doing. The recomended off road pressures are often 15 to 18lbs. And there in lies the rub. On a bicycle, a couple of CO2 cartridges and an inflator that attaches to your Presta or Schrader valve and you can inflate your tires once you are out of the dirt. Not so easy on the much larger volume motorcycle tires. Along comes V1 Motor Portable Mini Air Compressor. just attach one pigtail to your battery and when you need air plug it in, fire it up and you can have your motorcycle tires inflated properly regardless of the terrain. There are multiple connectors, it operates off of 12volts and it makes short work inflating ATV or Motorcycle tires. The Schrader connector on the hose end is a solid unit, unlike many of the flimsy crimped on units on other inflators. The VI is heavy for its size and puts out a lot of air and I imagine it will be functioning long after I am not. I have a small rack on the back of my bike, a waterproof case and now correct tire pressure for my Dunlop 605's. I have always held the belief that good tires on any vehicle, properly inflated is the cheapest insurance you can by. With this dandy tool and a good gauge, all your riding will be optimal.
Review: Good emergency pump - The mini air compressor is well made, works well and small enough to carry as an emergency air pump. It gets hot after a few minutes of use and I ended up blowing a 7.5 amp fuse on my battery tender.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great little compressor with a bit of extra care...
*by M***E on May 15, 2019*

I use this for dirt bike riding. It puts out plenty of air to refill a tire on the trail.... however, I would take the screws out and put it back together with blue locktite before counting on it. I had carried mine around for about 3 years before I needed to use it the first time. When I took it out of the case it was in pieces from lots of vibration. Needless to say, it didn't do me any good that day. But on many subsequent occasions it has served me very well after reassembly with the aforementioned locktite.
