This Invincible collection is the best of the first four, and introduces my favorite "villains" of the series: The Reanimen. The Reanimen are cybernetic creations of D.A. Sinclair - another scientist-type guy that you'll see more of in the future. The Reanimen are some of the toughest opponents that Invincible has faced, yet, and one of them is his friend! This collection also introduces "The Lizard League" - a knock-off of Marvel's Serpent Society. (Though many of Kirkman's characters are very similar to the more popular characters in the Marvel and Dc Universe, it doesn't bother me as much as I first thought it would.) The Lizard League throws down with the Guardians of the Globe, while the other heroes of Earth try to fight off the Sequid invasion of Earth. Lots of action throughout the entire book, and Ryan Ottley does a great job bringint it to us with his pencils. This volume does not disappoint! If you liked the first three volumes, you'll surely enjoy this one!
