Is there a way to have it turn on when powered and not press a button?

You dont need to press any buttons . When it senses its getting hot it turns on or speeds up .. Just let it get on with it ..

Would this work well with a Dell Latitude e6430?

Hello, Thank you for your question! You have an air exhaust on the side of your Dell Latitude which should allow the KLIM Tempest to fit. However, by looking at the ventilation from underneath, a cooling pad could give better results. You may have a look at the KLIM Wind! Nevertheless, if you need a portable laptop cooler, the KLIM Tempest would be a good choice! In any case, remember that you have 30 days to return the product if you are not satisfied. I can suggest you contact us at support@klimtechnologies.com so that we would help you to choose the best cooler that suits your needs The KLIM Team!

Would this be compatible with the Lenovo Legion 5 17 inch?

Hello, Thank you for your question ! Yes but you'd need at least two, that's why we rather recommend cooling pad like KLIM Airflow or KLIM Glacier. Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any question! Kind regards, KLIM TEAM
